It might not be something you have seen before, but when you think about it, it falls in line with the lifestyle of the average family in 2014 for a number of reasons. When your house plan incorporates a courtyard, it is often more private than having a standard backyard. Because of the many ways they can be laid out, courtyards feel like an extension of the house, especially because many people choose to incorporate a vegetable garden or spa area. People pay a lot of money for a view of the ocean or some beautiful rolling hills, but when you design your courtyard to suit your needs, it becomes your own hidden oasis. You can plant a lush, colorful garden, install a pond with lively fish or enjoy a swimming pool as the central focus of your house.
