Plan of the week: Contemporary Home Plan

Our newest contemporary home plan is the Moderno. It is our best example of casual contemporary resort style living. Its clean lines with stone and stacked wood accents make for a warm but contemporary feeling. The home is crowned with a standing seam metal hipped roof. Cabled railing and bronze framed windows complete the modern look.

Outdoor Living!

The solana off the master suite is the perfect place for relaxation and casual conversation. The outdoor kitchen and dining in the distance has a viewing deck just above with an outdoor fireplace for cool evenings. Add an infinity edge pool with dual pillared fire pots and the stage is set!

Open Floor Plan!

The great room is accessed directly through the entry door from the foyer. Once inside, the stairway to the second floor is viewed just around the corner. It is accented by built-ins for a TV and displays. The great room opens to the rear solana through a pocketing wall of glass sliding doors.  The gourmet kitchen is just to the left with the open concept feel that allows plenty of room for entertaining family and friends.

Sumptuous Master Retreat!

Inside, the highlight of the Moderno home plan is it’s sumptuous master retreat. The master foyer yields to another dressing vestibule that gives glances of the view beyond thru it’s decorative divider, allowing an abundance of natural light. The master bath, with his and hers vanities and glass enclosed shower, gives a very Asian resort feel to the bath.The climax is the freestanding soaking tub with a French door to the private garden beyond. The master retreat features a large outdoor sitting area adjacent to the master suite with an outdoor fireplace. Upstairs is an entertaining loft with balcony overlooking two spacious guest suites with private baths.
