Burroughs House Plan

Our popular Prairie Pine Court is loved by many, but it requires a wider lot. By restructuring the home with the garage in the front, the same beloved Prairie styleis now able to fit on a narrower lot. On our Burroughs house plan, a wide front porch welcomes you home. Tapered columns with stone bases support the porch roof, which features a decorative dormer. This dormer opens high above the front door. Delicate banding, stone accents, detailed windows, and a metal roof all contribute to making the Burroughs home special.

Inside, the floor plan has the same great open layout, but on a smaller scale. The home’s foyer leads to the study on the left and the dining room on the right. Beyond the foyer is the great room, which features a beautiful coffered ceiling, built-ins, and a central fireplace. Three sets of French doors lead to the large, covered verandah. Open to the great room is the kitchen and nook. The kitchen has a center island and walk-in pantry.

The left side of the home is dedicated to the master suite. The master foyer leads to the bedroom and sitting area, his and her closets, and the master bath. The master bath offers a functional layout with a dual vanity, walk-in shower, and soaking tub.

The right side of the home offers access to two guest suites that share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, a powder bath, and the utility room. The garage is accessible through the utility room. The oversized garage also provides a generous storage closet. Guest bedroom 2 has a set of French doors leading to the verandah. The verandah is complete with a fireplace and built-in grille.
