Description Our Belvedere house plan is a Contemporary Courtyard design. Its stucco facade offers straight lines and a modern metal roof. The original sketches for this floor plan were created several years ago. Dan Sater’s daughter wanted him to sketch her “dream home” at the time. The Belvedere plan is the final result of that original sketch. Her vision was to have a courtyard home without a separate cabana, as she was dreaming of the safety of future children.
The Portico leads to the courtyard’sveranda. French doors in the living room welcome guests. The home offers a simple concept - the living room, kitchen and dining all share one open space. A fireplace warms the home and built-in shelves, perfect for books and knick knacks, create a cozy and homey feel. The kitchen has two islands for food prep and a corner, walk-in pantry. The dining area offers a mitered glass wall to enjoy the courtyard views and bring natural light in.
At the rear of the home is the master suite. The master bathroom offers a freestanding tub, walk-in shower, private water closet, dual vanities, and a walk-in closet. Doors from the master bedroom lead to the veranda and a more private master porch.
Towards the front of the home is the utility room, hall bath and first guest bedroom. The hall bath has a door to the veranda, perfect for pool days. The stairs lead to the second level where a small loft can be found. Also upstairs is another guest bedroom and bath. The second guest suite offers a charming window seat and private sun deck.
