Small Luxury House Plans: An Overview

Last weekend I visited the 2016 Grand Tour of Homes in Lexington, KY. While some of the houses toured were quite large and on a grand scale, it was the small luxury house plans and their smart use of space that stood out the most.

Small luxury house plans are generally defined as 2800 square feet or less. Comfortable in style and elegant in details, small luxury home plans are compact in space but big on function.

The trend in small luxury home plans is a generous living area in the center of the home that is open to the kitchen. In the Sater Design Collection, the “Glenfield” reflects this popular layout, bringing ease to daily living and entertaining alike.
