Aurora Award Winning House Plans

Our house plans have been winning awards for 3 decades. This year two of our house plans were honored with awards. While we are extremely proud of all our creations we'd like to take a moment and shine a little extra light on this years winners in the 2018 Aurora Awards.

The Caspian House Plan:

The Caspian home plan feels like a villa straight out of Italy. This European home plan, while narrow, does not lack in luxurious detailing.

The Carrington House Plan:

The Carrington home plan is full of Charleston charm. This plan is perfect for a traditional neighborhood design with its narrow shape and garage access located in the rear. Outside, a circular verandah flanks the left side of the home.

What are the Aurora Awards?

The Aurora Awards is part of the  yearly SEBC conference. The Southeast Building Conference (SEBC), which is hosted by the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA), is the largest building industry trade show in the southeast. As the premier trade event, the SEBC includes outstanding educational programs featuring three days of hard-hitting seminars, networking opportunities, round table discussions and industry briefings.

The Aurora Awards 2018 included entries in 61 categories for attached and detached housing designs, including interior design, detailing, custom and re-use and renovation work. Also honored are diverse commercial, recreational and specialty buildings, as well as land planning achievements.

Entries were reviewed by a panel of 4 building industry leaders. Judges are selected from among the most creative and successful individuals within the home building industry, and represent the many disciplines contributing to building and design, as well as geographic diversity. Judges are ineligible for entry.

We are very proud of our work and we would like to thank the SEBC as well as the FHBA for all their hard work, and for these awards. We look forward to submitting new stunning plans next year.
