Description

The Royal Country Down house plan is the perfect design for those looking for a country setting or just a quiet place to settle in.  The Royal Country Down home has renaissance details. It has carved pilasters, rusticated columns and scrolled pediments. Massive masonry walls, checkered brick-and-stucco panels and semicircular pediments recall a classic Chateauesque motif that’s the new darling of Euro architecture. The Royal Country Down plan highlights the refined spirit of this home, which prevails beyond the grand foyer entry. Formal spaces radiate from a splendid gallery of arches and columns. It is a deliberate strategy that permits interior vistas to penetrate the skin of the elevation, past the rear veranda to the ocean or hills beyond.

The double sided fireplace is the perfect accent between the living room and study. Built-in shelves frame the second fireplace in the leisure room. This is just to the left of the kitchen. It anchors an open arrangement of casual space with the morning nook and gourmet kitchen. A large pantry gives the kitchen that extra storage space that every country home needs. The leisure room of the Royal Country Down plan boasts a beautiful coffered ceiling. There are double french doors leading out to the covered verandah.

The entire right side of the home contains the master suite. It opens to the verandah in the rear via french doors. Two large his and hers walk in closets give ample storage space for every need. The luxurious master bath has double sinks, a whirlpool tub surrounded by a large bay window and separate walk in shower.

A spectacular yet comfortable winding staircase draws family members and guests up to the secondary sleeping quarters on the second level. With a private deck, walk-in shower and spacious bedroom, a live-in relative will feel right at home. The floor plan of the Royal Country Down has 3956 square feet of living area, and the plan has four bedrooms and three and 1/2 bathrooms. The house plan sits on a slab/stem wall foundation.
