Hemingway Lane is a stunning cottage style home plan.  This two-story house plan has 2957 square feet of living area.  It features five bedrooms, three and 1/2 bathrooms and an island basement. Hemingway Lane is an inspiration of 19th-century Key West houses. The updated façade is invitingly graceful with Doric columns and a glass-paneled arched entry.  The mid-level foyer creates the sensation of a ground floor in a raised plan.

As you enter Hemingway Lane you are greeted with wide open spaces leading into the living room and dining room. The living room boasts a cozy fireplace and built-in cabinetry. Two sets of French doors lead out to the gallery and sundeck and a two-story picture window invites natural light into the heart of the home. A dreamy over-sized kitchen has a walk-in pantry, a food preparation island and its own French door to the covered porch.

Enjoy the comforts of Hemingway Lane’s master suite with his and hers large walk-in closets.  French doors in the master suite capture generous views and open to the covered porch. The spacious master bath features dual vanities, corner walk-in shower and tub.  The upper level is open to the living room and dining room below.  A central computer loft offers built-in desk space and a balcony overlook. Upper level sleeping quarters include four bedrooms, which take full advantage of their lofty placement. Two of the secondary bedrooms lead out to a covered balcony and sundeck.  The lower level island basement has many possibilities and can be converted to a bonus room/game room. The Hemingway Lane is available in an island basement foundation.
