Rustic and venerable, this new Norman villa, the Baxter, employs a mix of massive stone walls and ebullient details to create a spirit of elegant repose. A lovely arcade enhanced with fanlights and French doors leads to a grand interior that is oriented to rear vistas. Retreating walls, glass doors, and bow and bay windows permit plenty of natural light and spectacular views to fill the Baxter home.

Classic materials and a historic style play well against extraordinary touches, such as a two-way fireplace, stepped ceilings and an angled entertainment center in the leisure room. The retreating glass walls lead out to the optional veranda and entertainment area with a full outdoor kitchen. The powder bath is accessed from both the veranda and inside the home.

A meld of authentic architectural details and cutting-edge technology prepares the gourmet kitchen of the Baxter plan for any culinary event. It has a large center island for additional counter space and food prep. The walk in pantry provides ample storage for small appliances and both canned goods and dry goods. Traditional dinners and quick snacks, as well as meals alfresco are right at your fingertips in this beautiful kitchen which overlooks the leisure room and breakfast nook area.

Lavish embellishments adorn the owners’ retreat of the Baxter home plan. A windowed walk-in shower and a bumped-out whirlpool tub with views of a private garden. There is a dual wardrobe with storage which provide plenty of room for the owners. There are separate vanities with sinks allowing for private space for his and hers individual needs.

There are two guest suites complete with private bathrooms for each suite in this Baxter floor plan. The veranda wraps around to the side for a private oasis for one of the guest suites via sliding glass doors.

The Baxter house plan has 3760 square feet of living area, and it has three bedrooms and three and 1/2 bathrooms. The plan is designed with a slab/stem wall foundation.
