Since I was born and raised in Florida, it’s no surprise that I’m especially drawn to the old Florida style cottages.  I just love the sound of rain falling on the metal roofs, or just relaxing on the front porch swing soaking up the afternoon sun, and feeling the soft breezes coming off of the water.

 That’s why one of my very favorite books by Dan Sater is “Beautiful Cottages and Villas”.  Just browsing through the colorful pages reminds me of my many visits to the Keys, where I’ve enjoyed strolling along the narrow streets just checking out all the pastel colored bungalows, and Bed and Breakfast villas. Great memories.
