This year’s Aurora Awards competition attracted a record 382 entries, according to Chairman Dave Roberston of RPI Media in Melbourne, Florida.

Entries from 13 states were judged by a panel of housing, design, and construction experts who recognized 143 Aurora Awards, plus 26 Grand Awards, and six “Best of State” honors.

“The Aurora Awards are the Grammy’s of the home building profession,” said Robertson. “An Aurora symbolizes tremendous achievement, honor and distinction among building industry professionals.”

The Barlovento, located in Talis Park, Naples, Florida has unmistakable Old World Tuscan styling. A stone wall at the entry with a bougainvillea draped trellis and a wrought iron gateway welcome you into this home’s open design. The builder for this home was Fox Custom Homes and interior design was done by Clive Daniels.

An outdoor kitchen, fireplace and views of the canal make entertaining a breeze. The builder was Michelangelo Custom Homes and interior design was by Norris Furniture Gallery.
